For small teams of 1-2 staff members designed to take your spray tanning to the next level with personalised training. This training is completely customised to you. We can work on perfecting your technique, colour matching and colour mixing, consultation skills, client prep & aftercare, drying and finishing techniques, troubleshooting and problem solving plus more.
To get the most out of your training, I highly recommend spray tanning each other or a model the day before our session. This gives me the opportunity to see your current work, assess technique, results and trouble shoot any issues.
Training sessions can be held either in your salon or at the Skye Beauty Studio in Wanaka. For mobile education sessions outside of Wanaka, a small travel fee may apply.

About Lucy Skye
Hello! I’m the owner of Skye Beauty and a specialist in bridal spray tans. I started my spray tanning journey 17 years ago, and to be honest, back then, everyone who got a tan from me up with a uniform, dark orange undertone. My knowledge was small, and the education available at that time was quite basic and in many cases, it still is. Typically, you would watch your trainer perform one or two tans before being left to navigate the rest on your own. But spray tan training shouldn’t be like that, and that’s where I come in! We will focus on you/or your team achieving flawless tan results every time, understanding client undertones, mastering the solutions you use, improving techniques, enhancing the client experience, troubleshooting common issues, and most importantly, increasing your client retention.
Over the years, I've performed thousands of Spray Tans and genuinely feel like I've seen it all - real experience is something I can pass onto you.
I'm currently a finalist in the New Zealand Wedding Industry Awards for Bridal spray tanning, during peak season my books are consistently full weeks in advance!
